Corporate counsel are including 2% fewer law firms on their short lists. This compares to a 4% shrinkage in 2015. Clients now consider 6% fewer law firms than 2014 for hire. This means more work may be available to the law firms protecting their place on short lists. In addition, more law firms are going to have to work harder than ever to be considered for hire.
