Sarah is a national expert in the staffing industry and leads Akerman’s Staffing Law Sector team, which assists staffing firms across sectors in avoiding and resolving disputes, complying with regulations, and transacting business.

In the staffing context, and elsewhere, Sarah works closely with clients to design and execute litigation strategies through the lens of their business priorities. In recent years, she has led the defense of dozens staffing companies in class, collective, and representative actions that sought to attack the industry’s business model. Sarah has argued extensively in California state and federal courts, including the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, in federal courts across the country, and in arbitration.
