Monica Uddin is a trial lawyer and the hiring partner for AZA. She is a skilled trial lawyer who has represented energy companies and other businesses and individuals in a variety of complex commercial matters including contract disputes, partnership break ups, defamation, and trade secrets. With a computer science background from Stanford University, she has also been active with AZA’s intellectual property and patent litigation team.

A University of Chicago Law School graduate, Ms. Uddin excels at framing her clients’ stories in a successful manner for juries and judges. She was named to the 2021 and 2022 lists of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for commercial litigation and the 2023-2025 lists of Best Lawyers. She was also selected on the Texas Rising Stars’ lists for the 2013-2020 and the Texas Super Lawyers list in 2024 for her excellence in business litigation.
