Chris Shenk is a co-leader of Sidley’s Telecom and Internet Competition practice, which was recently named a Telecommunications Group of the Year by Law360. Chris provides regulatory, transactional and litigation counseling to wireline, wireless, video, media and internet clients. He has represented clients before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Department of Justice (DOJ), state regulatory agencies, state and federal district courts, and state and federal appellate courts. Chris has a broad range of experience in communications-related litigation and regulatory matters, and has extensive knowledge in the areas of communications mergers, wireless services (including spectrum auctions), e911, privacy, Internet backbone interconnection, dedicated services, local competition, Voice over Internet Protocol, video services, access charge regulation and intercarrier compensation. In addition, Chris has represented clients in energy and other regulated industries in a variety of matters involving litigation and economic regulation.
