Natalie Bennett is a trial lawyer focusing on high-stakes intellectual property (IP) disputes in the areas of patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract. She litigates a wide range of technologies, including software and computer networking products, semiconductor chips, pharmaceutical and agrochemical products, and medical devices. She has tried IP disputes in district courts before a jury, at the International Trade Commission, and before arbitration panels. Natalie was recently selected by the American Lawyer as Litigator of the Week after securing a $45 million verdict before a US District Court for the District of Delaware jury.
Natalie has litigated more than a dozen high-stakes IP trials through final judgment, including the first verdict obtained under the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016. She examines fact and expert witnesses before juries and delivers opening and closing arguments. As lead counsel, Natalie takes an active role in the preparation of briefing and has handled oral arguments before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as high-stakes issues in district courts, including motions for judgment as a matter of law and preliminary injunction proceedings.
