WHAT CLIENTS SAY

"Ken is a very good attorney and really knows his stuff while providing excellent client service."

MY CLIENT PHILOSOPHY

"My practice involves representing developers in obtaining land use approvals and then, California being what it is, defending those approvals against challenges in trial and appellate courts, including four matters decided by the California Supreme Court. In order do so effectively, I have to be, and am, aware of state and federal constitutions and statutes and case law interpreting them, municipal codes and how they are applied in practice and local politics because land use is among the most political of legal areas. Finally, I have to understand my clients' business goals and limitations in order to effectively represent them. I've been doing this for almost 50 years and have tried around 100 cases involving everything from a dispute between neighbors over an easement to the approval and subsequent litigation of over 40,000,000 square feet of logistics facilities."
