Mark practices in the areas of complex commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, business litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has extensive experience in international and domestic arbitration, acting as both Counsel and as Arbitrator, under all the major arbitral rules (including ICDR, AAA, ICC, LCIA, SCC, SIAC, ICSID, NAFTA) as well as ad hoc disputes under UNCITRAL rules. He has represented numerous clients in matters regarding international and domestic construction contracts, power purchase and sale agreements, energy contracts, joint ventures, and project finance and development agreements. Mark is also a leading commentator on the avoidance and resolution of climate change and sustainability disputes. In addition, he has extensive experience litigating banking, financial and securities transactions.
