Mr. Trammell has particular experience in the areas of financial services litigation, including mortgage servicing and equipment leasing disputes, in addition to insurance coverage disputes, as well as intellectual property litigation.
While Mr. Trammell has been managing counsel of literally thousands of mortgage cases for lenders/servicers across the Southeast throughout the years, he is also comfortable handling class actions and multi-million-dollar suits. Not only has he tried many cases in state courts through his years of practice, but he has significant experience trying large stakes cases in federal court. Mr. Trammell tried a one-month federal court intellectual property case involving technology in the aerospace industry in which his client received a significant verdict. Preceding that trial, he tried a three-month federal court case involving a complex multi-million dollar commercial dispute which centered around ownership of and damages related to spinal technology. In addition to his extensive trial court experience, Mr. Trammell has arbitrated a number of cases and has argued numerous cases before appellate courts.
Prior to law school, Mr. Trammell worked for a Fortune 100 financial services company. In his approach to a lawsuit, he uses his former business experiences to evaluate cases, from not only a litigation perspective, but also from a business perspective.
