Michael is a Partner in the Energy group, member of the Energy Commodities Trading practice, and co-head of the Commodities Enforcement and Government Investigations team.

He focuses on regulatory matters, government investigations and enforcement defense, and policy advocacy regarding the trading of physical commodities and financial commodity derivatives in markets for energy, agriculture and weather products. Michael represents clients before the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Department of Justice (DOJ) and National Futures Association/regulated futures exchanges (SROs).
