I am a recognized English-qualified lawyer located full-time in the Silicon Valley, specialising in privacy, AI, and technology law. I have extensive experience advising companies on the roll-out of disruptive and innovative technologies. My expertise include building comprehensive global privacy programs with an EU focus, supporting customer deals, vendor management, data breach response, marketing compliance, and other digital regulatory compliance issues. A significant portion of my work currently involves assisting clients with the complaint development, training and scaling of AI models and integrated AI-based solutions.

Abigail concentrates her practice in the areas of employment litigation, employment law, and counseling. She helps a diverse array of employers avoid litigation and/or business interruption through training and counseling on issues such as compliance with discrimination and leave laws; evaluating and discharging employees; drug and alcohol testing; and developing legally sound personnel policies and employee handbooks. When disputes are inevitable, Abigail defends employers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and nationwide in matters such as state and federal single-plaintiff actions involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, violations of wage and hour law, and restrictive covenant issues.

Abigail also assists and defends employers through agency investigations. She also has experience defending employers in federal and state class actions.

Karl Hopkins

Karl Hopkins is an internationally recognized legal advisor with extensive experience in infrastructure, energy, compliance, and cybersecurity and privacy matters. Karl counsels clients on a variety of matters involving international infrastructure development, arbitration, energy, business and political intelligence, and security and threat analysis. He also provides strategic advice regarding global operations, including the performance of due diligence and compliance investigations, physical and cybersecurity assessments, country and political risk assessments, and threat analyses. This includes providing enterprise risk management and organizational resiliency advice. He has acted as the Chief Security Officer for a large multinational organization where he was responsible for the development and oversight of the information security, physical security, compliance, investigation, threat and political analysis, data retention, incident response, and insider threat programs.

Karl also provides clients with strategic and legal advice regarding crisis and incident response, and serves as incident response counsel for several global institutions. He has managed various types of crises, including physical security breaches and cyber incidents, insider threats, and reputational impacts. He assists clients with the formulation and implementation of communication and crisis management policies and protocols.
