Mario Milano concentrates his practice on drafting and prosecuting utility and design patent applications, with a primary focus on medical devices and electrical connection manufacturers. He seeks to understand each client’s specific business goals in order to develop the best strategy for building and managing a strong patent portfolio for them. This often begins by working closely with in-house counsel to develop intellectual property directed to protect the client’s product as well as directed to competitor products.

Mario has also had experience with mobility vehicles, electrical control systems, consumer products, aeronautical vehicles and military equipment. In addition, he has drafted patentability, infringement and invalidity opinions. He has also drafted and negotiated intellectual property licenses and transfer agreements.
